Ms. Denetra Gary is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland, Nevada, Indiana, and North Carolina. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2008. She then went on to complete a Master of Social Work degree from Howard University in 2011. She has eight years’ experience in the field of social work and mental health counseling.
Ms. Gary’s therapeutic focus and mission are to restore the entire family unit. Her goal in initiating this change is to start with women. She believes that women who are complete and whole in Christ are a powerful influence in recreating the family unit back to God’s original plan. She is skilled in helping individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, chronic disorganization, and dysfunction.
Ms. Gary gave her heart to the Lord as a child. She was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist church after meeting a Seventh Day Adventist in the park and spending several months in Bible studies. She uses her Christian based therapeutic counseling abilities, skills, knowledge, and insights to guide women toward wholeness, interpersonal competence, metal stability, and spiritual maturity. She is personally devoted, and deeply committed to helping individuals overcome deep emotional roots that lead to sin.
Ms. Gary believes that the Bible is the source for complete healing. She’s dedicated to studying the Bible and uses it as a tool to affect change. Ms. Gary follows the National Social Work Code of Ethics and operates from a non-judgmental, confidential, and non-biased view.
